Andy O'Meagher
BSc. GDipEd.
Andy is the Director of Act2 Solutions and the driving force behind most of the software and efficiencies that are at the heart of what we do.
Thanks to Andy’s endeavours actuarial certificates for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds can now be delivered extremely quickly, accurately, and in a more cost-effective manner.
He has a varied occupational background from selling pearls in Broome to teaching Computing and Science at Aquinas College in Perth. After a couple of years of studying Actuarial Science and developing software with an actuary, early in 2004 Andy obtained a position in Hobart preparing Actuarial Certificates for SMSFs.
When not in the office, Andy loves to enjoy the great outdoors of Tasmania, through hiking, fishing, golfing, and driving.
Kristy has been part of the Act2 team since September 2015.
She has brought with her extensive knowledge in the business accounting sector and has completed her Diploma in Accounting in 2016.
Kristy grew up in the Midlands Area and moved to Hobart 18 years ago where herself and her Husband ran a successful Construction company and then went on and started their own Self Storage Business. Her previous roles also included working in a large employment firm as an assistant accountant.
Kristy’s role within Act2 is to oversee all aspects of Finance and Operations of the Business including our new Act2 Membership portal.
When Kristy is not at work she enjoys Home schooling her teenage son, going to the gym, and has recently gained her Cert 3 in Fitness.

Barbara Walker
Barbara has a certificate IV in both Accounting & Bookkeeping and Human Resources. Barbara joins our team with over 30 years of experience in accounts.
Barbara grew up in the Blue Mountains in New South Wales and has lived and worked throughout Australia but sees Hobart as her forever home.
When not in the office, Barbara enjoys roaming around on her property with her dogs, working on home improvements, and being out in the garden.
Mark joins the Act2 Team as a highly qualified Senior Software Developer.
Mark has over 5 years’ experience working within the industry, with his most recent role as a Full Stack Web Developer at Tarlac State University and as a Freelance Web Developer.
Recently Mark obtained his Bachelor of Science with a major in Information Technology and is he is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology.
During his free time, he has a passion for motorcycles, exploring new trails through hiking, and playing the guitar.

Introducing Francis, our newest team member!
Francis holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Tarlac State University and brings nearly five years of valuable experience to our team. In his previous role at onsemi (Tarlac branch), Francis served as a Programmer, where he played a pivotal role in maintaining Web Application Systems utilized by various departments such as QA, HR, and Operations/Production. His responsibilities encompassed support, development, enhancement, testing, user acceptance training, and deployment, showcasing his commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
With a knack for customer relations, Francis excelled in interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and departments, honing his interpersonal skills along the way.
Outside of work, Francis enjoys unwinding by watching movies on Netflix and strumming his guitar. He has a passion for motorcycles and relishes embarking on riding trips with friends. Additionally, he dedicates 1-2 hours of his free time to upskilling in software development, demonstrating his dedication to continuous learning and self-improvement.
