SmarterSMSF – SMSF Days
SMSF Days, 13th – 27th March 2024
During March we joined Aaron Dunn and Tim Miller from SmarterSMSF in their annual roadshow to the major capital cities. Act2 Solutions have been sponsoring these events since 2016 and one of the wonderful aspects of these events is the opportunity to get up and explain who we are and what we do and engage with some new clients as well as meeting up with long-term clients. SmarterSMSF always keep it relevant and interesting and Andy even got to learn a few things sitting in the back of the room for several of the presentations! We highly recommend this roadshow for those looking for interesting and well-presented information around contemporary SMFS issues.
SMSF National Conference 2024 (Brisbane)

February saw Act2 Solutions attending our 15th SMSF National Conference as sponsors. Brisbane is always an excellent venue for this event and this year did not disappoint. Andy and Cath got to catch up with many existing clients and were also excited to see many new faces. Feedback from delegates was that the content was relevant and the speakers engaging as per usual, and we got lots of positive feedback about, and many appreciative receipients of, our new mascot - Owlbert!
SMSF Adviser Technical Strategy Days
17th – 25th October 2023
Act2 sponsored this three-day event, across separate locations in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, arming SMSF specialists with the knowledge to supercharge their businesses.

Barb and Kristy enjoyed two intensive days in Sydney for a deep dive into the world of Accounting and Bookkeeping.

SMSF Hero – Fundraising event for Brooke Hepburn- Rogers
Tuesday 6th of June 2023
3 of Australia’s most recognised SMSF specialists along with Act2 GM Helen Molloy, who MC’d the event, came together to provide a fully accredited CPD event to raise money for long-time friend, and client, Brooke Hepburn-Rogers who at the age of 41 was diagnosed with stage 4 Gliosarcoma – an incurable, brain cancer. We are proud to say that we raised $17,400 through ticket sales, with an estimated further $5,000 in donations added to Brooke’s GoFundMe page.

Smarter SMSF Day

The Smarter SMSF, SMSF Day events in 2022 were a great success, with Act2 serving as event partners and record numbers of attendees joining in-person for the full day CPD training session made this years events the best yet.
As we look forward to the next event, scheduled for March-April 2023 across 5 Australian cities, participants were able to learn from SMSF specialist Aaron Dunn and Tim Miller, with both face-to-face and online options available for attending.
Accountex Sydney

Accountex was an unforgettable two-day event that brought together accounting, finance, and bookkeeping professionals to learn about the latest apps and technology.
The event provided us valuable education programs and resources, both onsite and throughout the year, to help professionals navigate the future of accounting and stay ahead of the curve.
SMSF Association National Conference 2023
22th – 24th February, 2023
2023 marked SMSF Association's 20th-year celebration, event was a resounding success, bringing together some of the brightest minds in the industry to collaborate and connect.
Over the course of two and a half days in Melbourne, attendees shared the latest updates and learnings within the SMSF Industry, engaged in robust debates and gained valuable insights from one another. The event fostered a vibrant community of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
TOAcon 2022
4th – 6th December, 2022
The third annual TOA global conference was an event like no other, held on the picturesque Boracay Island, Helen Molloy was fortunate enough to attend such an incredible event.
TOAcon included an impressive line-up of speakers, including UGG founder Brian Smith and keynote speaker Paul Taylor, who shared with us invaluable insights and strategies for navigating the evolving business landscape.
Cancer Council Ball
26th November 2022
Act2 are honoured to have been a premium sponsor for the Hobart's Nautical Gala Ball for another year in a row, in support of Cancer Council Tasmania's efforts in investing in cancer research, prevention education, and support services across Tasmania.
